What is Zelt anyway? Definition:

Zelt:

Ein Zelt ist Dach bzw. ein kleines Haus, welches vergleichsweise einfach zusammenzubauen ist. Das Zeltdach besteht meist aus Stoffbahnen, Tierfellen, -häuten oder Ähnlichem, die von einem Gerüst getragen werden. Dieses wiederum wird meistens aus Metall- oder Kunststoff- oder Holzstangen gefertigt.

Bei vielen nomadisierenden Völkern stellt das Zelt die Hauptunterkunft dar.

A tent is roof and/or a small house, which is to be assembled comparatively simply. The tent roof consists usually of stoffbahnen, animal skins, skins or the like, which are carried by a stand.
